IDEAS NSW is a unique organisation that specialises in providing high quality, accessible and relevant information and community awareness services for older Australians, people with disabilities, their families, carers and supporters. IDEAS offers information on disability and diseases, equipment and suppliers, accessible holiday options, communication aids, daily living aids, leisure and sports programs, employment, accommodation, entitlements and subsidies, respite and much, much more.
The IDEAS group envisage a world where people with disability live full, independent lives of their own choosing, and set about their day-to-day work framed by values of social justice, consultation, integrity and innovation.

An on-line information clearinghouse that supports informed decision making available at www.ideas.org.au.
A free call information service that invites interaction between and end user and a professionally trained and knowledge information provider, on the number 1800 029 904.
A SMS service that allows for instant and private information to you directly. SMS 0458 296 602 with your question and your location (suburb). The cost is the standard cost of an SMS for your provider (Optus or Telstra, etc).
A newsletter that is sent every two months containing an update on the sector, events that are coming up, news on disability, information on IDEAS and reader profiles. There is a small cost charged for service providers to sign up for the newsletter. People with disability, older people and their families are free.
An IDEAS blog which invites guest bloggers to become involved with the disability community and share their experiences, challenges and methods for overcoming them.
